Dream Team Sponsorship Guidelines

By applying for a position on the 2011 Dream Team, I agree to the following conditions (circle YES or NO, sign, date and return by fax back at time of application):

  • I will do my best to attend the Dream Team Kick Off (Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm) in the Bay Area. At this event, I agree to have my head shot taken by a professional photographer for the Dream Team Group Photos, to be used in contest marketing materials, the website, and for the media. I also understand I will be filmed by a professional videographer for The Dream Team Movie Trailer. By applying for a position on The Dream Team, I hereby release all images and footage to the Dream Team producer to be used at their discretion.

  • I will do my best to attend and participate in the Meet The Dream Team Mixer (Tuesday September 28, 2010 from 6:00-9:00 pm) in the Bay Area. I will be given a table to display promotional products, video, etc at this event. I understand this event is part industry networking/part bridal fair/part celebration of the contestants vying to win The 2011 San Francisco Dream Wedding. I  understand this is another opportunity offered to me to showcase my business and my talents to the public and the industry.

  • I understand that (in certain cases) there may be more than one Dream Team member who specializes in my particular area of expertise. I understand that this decision is entirely up to the contest producer, who may categorize each vendor as follows: 1 for rehearsal dinner, 1 for wedding ceremony, 1 for wedding reception, and 1 for any and all events leading up to or immediately following the wedding itself. Each vendor (unless otherwise noted) will be given equal advertising opportunities, regardless of which portion of the Dream Wedding they are involved in.

  • I understand that above all else, this contest is about Community Service, and giving something back to the industry that sustains me. While it does provide a number of fantastic marketing opportunities, the heart of this contest is about doing something good for a deserving couple.

  • I will post  the contest SPONSOR badge and link on my website or blog no later than May 25, 2010.

  • I agree to pay a one-time fee of $125.00 no later than April 30, 2010. I understand that this money is to be used for branding, marketing, advertising, printed materials, press releases, graphic design, web design and /or web hosting directly related to the contest. Any business donating over $5,500.00 in goods or labor shall have this fee waived, pending contest producer’s approval.

  • I understand that I must provide the following information to the contest producer no later than April 15, 2010:

1- Completed application

2- Check for $125.00 made out to San Jose Wedding Consultants

3- JPEG format of the following: Head Shot, Company Logo, 3 Samples of Work, a 125 by 125 Advertisement

4- Completed and signed contract, from the contest producer

5- Contract from you or your business for the winning couple to sign (indicating what you are donating)
