Nancy also writes The Brown Bag, a superb wedding resource blog, covering topics ranging from etiquette to fashion to flowers, of course.

Getting Started
As a child, Nancy enjoyed reading magazines like Town and Country. Her floral business started out small, after planning her own wedding. During the process, Nancy fell in love with the whole aspect of wedding décor. Eventually her interest in the finer things in life paid off when she went to work for some floral designers and loved it. She then went to school and the rest is history. Nancy soon became one of the bay area’s most sought after floral designers.
Married to a top notch Bay Area wedding photographer Kevin Chin, she began to see first hand how passionate, committed, and gracious people in the wedding industry were. Nancy knew that she wanted to be a part of this group of creative people, while helping other couples make their wedding day as special as her own.
We asked Nancy, “What do you love most about your job?” And she replied, “The moment when I get to hand the bouquet to the bride and I see her reaction. It’s undescribable. The fact that my days are never the same. The opportunity to always challenge myself.”.
