We are having so much fun!!!!
But let me tell you, that was no easy task having to choose so FEW!
Thursday night we met to discuss 50 couples we had selected, from among nearly 350 entries. That evening over laughter AND tears (and lots of GOOSEBUMPS), we narrowed it down to 20 couples. It was getting late, but we decided to keep moving forward with the process of elimination. So, taking it a step further, we narrowed it down to 10 couples (actually there were 11, because we couldn’t settle on TEN!).
All of the 50 stories we were reading were FABULOUS! So, you can imagine how difficult it was to sort through these entries, and narrow it down as far as we did.
On Friday, members of The Dream Team spent the day calling and emailing the couples we felt are the most deserving of winning the San Francisco Dream Wedding Giveaway!
When we contacted these ten (11) semi finalists, we let them know that they have until Monday at 5 pm PST, to let us know if they agree with all the Terms and Conditions, and to accept their spot as one of the TOP FIVE FINALISTS!!!
Making these phone calls was truly heart-warming, and emotional. Hearing the tears of joy and the excitement in these couple’s voices is something I will cherish FOREVER!
Thank you ALL for entering. We hope that you will continue to follow us on this journey, as we reveal our TOP FIVE on Thursday December 17th. The couples will then have until Christmas Day 12-25 to submit an essay and VIDEO for the public’s viewing.
It will be the public who decides the winners beginning 12-27-2009.

Congratulations to all the semi-finalists! I could only imagine receiving that phone call and how excited you must have been. This has been a wonderful contest and this truly is a blessing for all couples, even if we weren’t selected, we will cherish the comments and the excitement this contest filled in the lives of Tracey and I, and all of our family and friends. We were getting phone calls every night from family and friends asking how many comments we had and they were just as involved as we were and it was great to see and be a part of.
