That’s right, only THREE more days until the Dream Team meets in a top secret location to discuss who will make it in to the top five. I have a feeling it will be a very long meeting, as we’ve had around 350 couples enter to win.
Stories of health issues include various types of cancer, lupus, Chron’s disease, kidney disease, Lyme disease, and some rare diseases. These couples struggle daily while fighting for their health.
Stories of contestants who had challenging childhoods, but managed to overcome them: those who were tossed around the foster care system, those who were raised by abusive parents, those who were raised by single parents. I’m proud of our couples who have fought battles and managed to move on and become stellar adults.
There are stories of couples who dedicate themselves to helping others, either by occupation or through volunteerism. The couples who serve as teachers, doctors, missionaries. Those who help inner-city kids find hope. Those who work with the homeless, and those who help people find a reason to live. These are the stories of people who put others’ needs before their own.
There are the stories that come to us from our very own military men and women. The people who risk their lives, so that we may be safe. Firefighters, police, and honorable though not so highly paid careers. These are our heroes.
We’ve seen stories of people losing their jobs, losing their homes, losing their parents, losing their siblings. We’ve seen Hurricane Katrina victims. These people are fighters.
Stories of childhood love. Stories of long-lost love. Stories of long-distance relationships. These are our hopeless romantics.
With so many AMAZING men and women entering our Giveaway, I mean it when I say this is going to be SO difficult to select only FIVE couples to move on to the next round.

We are very excited to find out who the top 5 finalists will be and we’re hoping to be one of them! We feel awfully privileged to be among such good company and great couples! I don’t envy the Dream Team’s job having to select from such amazing people! Oh my goodness! I don’t know how you all can pick only 5! My guess is that many couples, like Chris and I, didn’t even mention all of the hardships that they have encountered in their lives! This must be one of the most difficult decisions ever! All I know is that any wedding, big or small, will be a dream wedding if it means I can spend the rest of my life with Chris <3

Wow, this is so very exciting, I can’t believe voting time is almost here. I remember entering this contest way back in October, and one of the most special gifts we could have ever asked for is getting all of our family and friends involved in our wedding process by having them leave comments on this very site. Getting to read such kind words from the people that mean the most to you was an absolute treat.
