Described by dozens of satisfied clients as upbeat, friendly, professional and organized, Kathryn happens to be a very talented, sought-after wedding and event planner, who is also highly repsected by industry peers.  Selected by The Knot as the Best Wedding Planner in Northern California for 2008 and 2009, Kathryn definitely has what it takes to help plan The Wedding of the Year!

Three of Kathryn’s weddings were recently featured in The Knot Northern California Fall/Winter 2008 issue, and she was also honored as one of the Best of Project Wedding in 2008. She has also made appearances on The View From The Bay, discussing holiday party planning tips.

Kathryn believes strongly in giving back to the community, and feels that every one of us has the ability to do so in some manner.  Knowing the joy that this will give to one lucky couple is another reason she is so excited to participate in the contest.

Getting Started

After spending ten years organizing corporate events, she finally decided it was time to branch out, and realize a life long dream of owning her own business. That was nearly five years ago, and her company will celebrate the milestone anniversary this July.

Why She Does What She Does

Kathryn says she loves her job because it allows her to be creative with her clients’ inspiration, and to create the wedding that they have always dreamed of.  She still tears up at all her weddings because  she really wants them to have the best day possible, and when she sees their faces full of happiness, it always gets her!

Kathryn is a self-proclaimed huge sports fan, and enjoys spending her Sundays off on her parents couch watching football, or attending San Francisco Giants baseball games. Family and friends are what she cherishes most, including her loving boyfriend.
